Join a community that is changing the course of nature’s decline in Cymru. ​

Tir Natur has identified a huge opportunity to purchase a flagship rewilding site in Cymru/Wales. A significant area of land, deep in the Welsh hills, this would represent the largest ecosystem restoration project in the country. Ancient breeds of Welsh grazing animals would roam freely, as their wild ancestors once did, and shape the landscape, allowing wildlife to flourish alongside thriving communities, while informing and inspiring further nature-led restoration at a time of unprecedented biodiversity loss. More than anything, it would offer hope - gobaith.

Our group of Community Founding Members brings together a group of passionate and generous individuals who want to help Tir Natur turn this vision into a reality. 

 

We are seeking gifts of £5,000 and £10,000 to contribute towards our land purchasing costs to secure this land and see wild nature return. Members’ donations will fund the equivalent of approx 3 or 6 acres respectively and as a thank you, we offer the opportunities below: 

 

• You will receive an invitation to an opening ceremony on the land with our ambassador, Iolo Williams. Walk the land with us and imagine the recovery of wild nature!

• You will receive a limited edition framed print of our wonderful 'Vision' illustration, by Welsh artist Katherine Jones.

• You will be the first to hear news of our progress towards securing the land with exclusive updates. 

• We’d like to recognise your support by having your name on our website (optional)

• At completion, £10,000 supporters will also receive a map of the site, highlighting a section of land that they have ‘sponsored’.
